The real ending where Cal is talking to Hobbes and Cal says how can people grow up and Hobbes doesn't answer and Cal says "Maybe he will catch up". I think thats the real ending. BTW Cal (vin) has this disease where his imagination is wild and when his mommy put him on meds, his imagination is just regular.
